WThis is an easy interpretation of a drink found on our latest drinks list. It's a large-volume prepared mix which is loaded full of flavours of a festive period, making it ideal for your holiday party. Save the extra cordial to use in morning drinks, puddings, or to make another batch of bikinis.
Bikini
Makes enough for 10 guests
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Cocktail (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
Making the Cordial: Place every items inside a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing to dissolve. Then, take off the burner and let it to reach room temperature fully. Pour into an sterilised bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for around one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Mix all the liquids into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then filter it preferably using muslin, making it perfectly clear.
For serving: Add 85ml from the premix into your stirring glass packed with ice, gently stirring gently for one minute until cold. Pour into a cold coupe glass or similar, garnish with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of the essential oil over the top.
